A coronavirus victim believed to be in his early 80s passed away in Luton. He was receiving treatment at Luton and Dunstable University Hospital.
This is the first death case to be registered in Luton caused by the coronavirus which is shaking the whole World. Many activities have been frozen world-wide as people are being encouraged to isolate themselves and stay home.
In UK, the number of diagnoses stands at 6,650 with 335 deaths attributed to the disease. Out of this, Luton has 15 reported cases with 1 death case.
Prime Minister Boris Johnson laid down further restrictions barring all outdoor activities except for food shopping, one daily outdoor exercise, medical care and essential travel to and from work in a bid to stop the spread of the virus.
